Little Dom’s {Italian Food}

Los Feliz is a hipster’s food lover’s paradise.  And everything is a short walk away!  No fighting for next-to-none street parking!  Nestled among a strip of tiny local shops and restaurants is Little Dom’s, a throwback Italian restaurant with the best fried cheesy rice balls you’ll ever find.

THE LOW DOWN:
Nothing crazy inventive here, no chef-lebrity name attached to the joint, no 3 month reservation wait list.  Nothing but good, quality, simple Italian food.  And that’s exactly what makes Little Dom’s just so lovable.

THE HITS:
The rice balls.  They’re giant balls of rice and cheese…and then deep fried.  There’s nothing there you couldn’t love.  Also, the fact that they serve a prix fixe, 3-course menu for Monday Night Supper and that it’s just $15 is is just splendid.  I haven’t had the opportunity to partake, but it’s on my to-do list!

THE MISSES:
No real complaints here.  Except that they don’t offer gelato sandwiches on the dinner dessert menu :(

THE EATS:

{arugula & parmesan salad}

{rice balls}

{cheesy goodness inside a rice ball}

{rigatoni w/ house made sausage}

THE RATING:

 if only for the rice balls.
