In an attempt to make my visiting NYC friends feel a little at home, I took them downtown for some dinner at Church & State and to be super touristy and take pictures at this little bench (yep, we’re adorable).

Last month’s International Food Club outing landed us in Korea…or at least very adjacent to K-town. It was a small but hungry group, with an honorary member, sister-in-law! (aka Brooke).
Birthday Dinner at The Hungry Cat [Seafood]
I’m slowly recovering from my birthday weekend. I tell myself I get a birthday month, but really it’s just me celebrating in my head for the first 3 weeks of the month of July…usually resulting in buying myself crap I don’t need (but really, really want!) and overindulging on cupcakes.
This past weekend’s festivities started on my actual birthday (the 28th, aka the BEST DAY EVER) with dinner at The Hungry Cat with my super awesome sis in law Brooke and equally super awesome cousin Chrissy.
